Paris Saint-Germain thrash Marseille 3-0, Payet, Undav, Guendouzi score in emphatic victory.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have secured another emphatic victory over Marseille with a 3-0 win at the Parc des Princes on Sunday evening.

The game started off well for PSG, as they took control early and dominated possession. The home side's attacking play was effective, and they were able to create several chances in the opening half-hour.

However, it wasn't until the second half that PSG really began to turn the tide. In the 54th minute, Mauro Icardi headed home from close range after a fine cross by Angel Di Maria, giving PSG a 1-0 lead.

And just two minutes later, the game exploded into life. Midfielder Marco Verratti received a pass from Edinson Cavani and played a delightful through ball to Antoine Griezmann, who scored his first goal for PSG since joining the club last summer.

In the 68th minute, Paris continued to dominate and found their second goal. After some excellent build-up play, Icardi scored a clinical finish from outside the box, making it 2-0.

Marseille struggled to match PSG's intensity throughout the game, and they were unable to find any answers against the French giants' attacking threat. With three goals in the space of 27 minutes, PSG looked comfortable in control and never looked like losing the game.

The result means that PSG now have a commanding lead at the top of Ligue 1, and they will be looking to extend their lead further when they face Lyon next weekend. Meanwhile, Marseille will be hoping to bounce back from this defeat and continue their impressive start to the season.
